Sign up for Significance Pt II

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

We closed last week Blog with Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

This passage profusely pours out a profound fact that our Father God has showered our souls with significance. So, I strongly encourage you to get a vice grip of faith on the three verbs that are bolded in the verse.

The word of God emphatically echoes the truth that God, First created (created someone new that never existed) Second formed (shaped us from soil /clay) Third made (brought us about with nobody’s support) for HIS GLORY! The source of our significance sole comes from God.

Therefore, God has created every person for a definite purpose: to bring glory to Him. In addition, Our Father God has formed and made us with purpose and significance. Our lives bear immense worth and meaning because of who created us and the vocation that he has ordained for us to occupy.

As we turn our observation of significance to our opening passage (Ephesians 2:10) we are marvelously immersed with an infinite truth with respect to our salvation. The source of salvation does not come from human heads and hands but from God’s head-heart and hands! The eternal explanation of this biblical declaration is that salvation is the absolute product of God’s workmanship. And our souls became significant when he saves us from our sins.

The word “workmanship” markedly implies that we are anointed works of art or masterpieces MADE BY THE MASTER. It is substantially separate from individual investment(work) or synergy.

According to Ephesians 2:8-9. Believers (B.O.T.S-born of the Spirit) are the Master’s masterpiece because they have been designed and developed by Deity in Christ Jesus. The purpose of a person made by God) is to produce do good works.

It’s also important to note that God’s workmanship is not

accomplished by good works, but it is the result in good works. The word of God declares, Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:14

What a bountiful blessing that believers are God’s workmanship in whom and through whom He performs good works.

In closing I respectfully submit to that secular and self-guided steps for solace and significance not sourced by the Spirit of God and the scriptures will leave a soul wanting.

SELF CENTEREDNESS CANCELS SIGNIFICANCE AND CONDEMNS US TO INSIGNIFICANCE.
