CONSISTENTLY CLEANING GODS HOUSE

CONSISTENTLY CLEANING GODS HOUSE

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Can you believe that the month of February will hitch itself to history this Thursday? That means that Spring is around the corner. And for or plethora of people Spring punctuates the outset of change and new experiences. For example, there is scientific data that supports the position that Spring is the most enjoyable season for individuals.

A significant number of studies postulates that Spring temperatures marshal in many benefits for our wellbeing.

Spring temperatures are generally moderate. And as we walked away from wrestling with winter in numerous places, the season(spring) brings mild temperatures in the 60s and 70s Fahrenheit. Most individuals incline to be most comfortable at temperatures of about 72°F, so the entrance of spring means you can ultimately discard the difficult dress of winter layers and still be
comfortable.

After the spring equinox, days begin lasting longer and nights get shorter. Daylight saving time, which advances the clock ahead and arrives in March. The change on the clock will usher in more light hours in addition to granting more opportunity to get things done.

So, besides the return of the birds and the bees (pollinating flowers) which are bountifully blooming and beautiful to behold in addition to new baby animals (bunnies, birds, ducklings, calves, and colts etc.) Spring is also a time of the year when many people take time to clean. They will be active in arranging and addressing the out of order areas of their homes.

They spruce up with the Spring. It is an opportunity to eliminate needless items and establish a well-kept or organize home.

Gloria and I will find ourselves engaged and embracing the exercise of establishing a clean and clutter free environment. This typically involves full-sized projects, like taking down and cleaning curtains, shaking, and smiting rugs to remove residual dust, and conceivably emptying out and eliminated grime goblins and dust devils that have encroached themselves in our cabinets and closets.

But what is unequivocally essential is our daily exercising in the eradication of the carnal centered clutter, the decaying deposits of disobedience, the ungodly unification with unforgiveness, fixtures of falsehood, filthy fleshly feelings, the grease of greed, the spoil and stench of selfishness in the House of God that is your body.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Cleaning house should be a central commitment in our spiritual journey.

In our next time together with the Lord leading I would like to look at some things that we need to address to keep God’s house (your body that HE BOUGHT) clean.

Not a sermon just some thoughts
